Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to use the same curriculum as everyone else?

Yes. All students are expected to continue working through the assigned curriculum at home between class days.

Also, given the comprehensive nature of our program, we do not believe it would be wise or feasible to use another curriculum in addition to our selected resources. For instance, you would not have time to use a full curriculum like Sonlight alongside our assigned curriculum.

Is this a drop-off?

Yes. Parents may drop their students off for the on-campus days. Parents are also welcome to stay on campus for fellowship, training opportunities, and classroom volunteer opportunities. We want to partner with you and build a community of like-minded families, so we welcome parents on campus.

What days and times are classes?

We meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:10 am-3:30 pm for 32 weeks from August to May.  We typically schedule break weeks every 6 weeks, with an extended 3-week Christmas break.

How many students are in each class?

Students attend age-based classes with 5-15 students per class.  If a grade-level does not meet the minimum number of students required, it will be combined with another grade level until minimum enrollment numbers are met.

Do you have a nursery or preschool?

We have a wonderful Montessori-inspired Primary School for children ages 3-PreK. Primary students may attend both days or choose one day per week.

Do you have a high school program?

For the 2024-25 school year, we will serve students from preschool-9th grade with plans to add a grade level each year until we have a full PreK-12th grade program.

What are your COVID policies?

We support each parent's right to determine how to best safeguard the health of their family members. Therefore, we do not require masks, social distancing, or vaccinations. We believe it is a parent's responsibility to monitor the health of his or her child(ren), and we ask that if your child is feeling unwell on a class day, please keep him or her home until he or she is healthy. Our complete sick policy is available in our Parent Handbook.
