About Us:
Cedar Hall Classical Academy (CHCA) is a hybrid homeschool academy that partners with families to provide a Christ-centered, classical education. We meet on Mondays and Wednesdays and emphasize a Charlotte Mason approach, fostering intellectual, spiritual, and character development.
Position Overview:
CHCA seeks a Finance Manager to oversee bookkeeping, budgeting, tuition collection, and financial reporting. This part-time, hybrid role requires an organized, self-motivated individual who can manage financial processes with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
Handle monthly bookkeeping and financial reporting.
Prepare the annual budget and assist with tax preparation (filing handled by an accountant).
Manage tuition and fee collection.
Oversee all purchases, payments, and reimbursements.
File quarterly wage reports and new hire reports.
Attend monthly board meetings to present financial updates.
Assist in budgeting for the upcoming fiscal and academic year.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in bookkeeping, budget management, or accounting required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in financial software preferred.
